Step Off The Path

University Project (2023)

Challenge: 92% of England’s countryside is private. Encourage outdoor users to vote for a Right to Roam.

Initial Exploration 1:  Normalising trespassing through community placed tags marking the way to ‘off the path’ nature spots.

Initial Exploration 2: Rewriting trespass signs to make the countryside less alienating.

Outcome: Step Off The Path,  a campaign facilitating responsible countryside roaming.

After experiencing these wild spaces, it encourages roamers to advocate for countryside access.
